Earlier this year (2007) the California Department of Pesticide Regulation
(CDPR) was once again asked to approve a new use for processed free glutamic
acid (MSG) sprayed on crops. Believe it or not, this one they denied.
NOTICE OF FINAL DECISIONS TO DENY PESTICIDE PRODUCTS
Pursuant to Section 6255 (Title 3) of the California Code of Regulations, the Director of the Department of Pesticide Regulation files this Notice concerning pesticide products with the Secretary of the Resources Agency for posting. Unless specified, the reason for denial is that the required data was either not submitted or determined to be inadequate. This Notice must remain posted for a period of 30 days for public inspection.
